Our MilesWeb review

MilesWeb is India's best-known independent host, founded in Nashik in 2012, and over the past few years it has pushed aggressively into the global budget market with USD pricing and datacenters in the US, UK, Canada, Singapore and Australia alongside its Indian facilities.

The shared hosting value is genuinely hard to beat on paper: $1.99/mo gets a site on NVMe storage with daily backups, free SSL and a free domain for the first year, on standard cPanel rather than a stripped-down custom panel. The $2.49 Premium tier at 25 websites and 50 GB NVMe undercuts most competitors' entry plans.

The usual budget-host caveats apply. Those prices require a 36-month prepay, and renewals climb to $4.99, $9.99 and $14.99 across the three tiers - a two-to-four-times jump, though the absolute renewal numbers remain lower than what Bluehost or HostGator charge on renewal. Prices were confirmed on MilesWeb's live pricing page for this review.

Support is where MilesWeb outperforms its price class. Chat is 24/7 with response times the company pegs at under 30 seconds, and its large base of public reviews skews strongly positive on support quality. There is no phone line, which is the main structural gap.

Performance is solid for the money, especially for visitors in India and Southeast Asia where its network is strongest. Sites serving mostly US or European traffic will do fine on the respective datacenters, but this is not a performance-tuned host in the LiteSpeed-plus-object-cache sense.

MilesWeb also sells VPS, reseller and WordPress lines. The fully managed cPanel VPS tier reviewed here is expensive relative to the shared plans; treat it as a convenience product and compare unmanaged options before upgrading.
